KWSH received the Friends of Northlight Award from Northlight School (NLS) on 10 March 2023! Launched in 2022, the Award recognises the partners which the school has built purposeful collaborations with to provide learning opportunities for its students.

The Hospital has collaborated with NLS to implement the electives and job shadowing components of the ITE Skills Certificate in Community Care Support programme, which was newly launched in Jan 2023. Throughout the two-year programme, its pioneer group of 24 students will gain wide exposure and deep understanding of the healthcare environment through authentic learning opportunities such as internships and an industry experiential programme at KWSH. The Hospital will also further support NLS through professional sharing and guidance to the students.

We are proud to be partnering NLS to support the students in acquiring industry and relevant skills, as well as preparing them for employability in the community care sector.
