Enrolled Nurse Sylvia Jani Wins a Tan Chin Tuan Nursing Award
KWSH is excited to announce that Ms Sylvia Jani, one of our Enrolled Nurses (ENs), has been awarded the Second Runner-up award at the 10th Tan Chin Tuan Nursing Award on 22 November 2016.
The Tan Chin Tuan Nursing Award, founded by DS Lee Foundation in 2005, is the highest accolade for enrolled nurses in Singapore. It recognises and acclaims enrolled nurses who have exhibited excellence and dedication in the nursing profession.
Out of the 48 applicants contesting for the award, only 10 were shortlisted and they had to go through a rigorous process of interview before the winners were decided.
EN Jani has been serving in KWSH for more than 40 years. Her dedication and professionalism is truly a testimony of her compassionate personality, making her a deserving awardee of this prize.
Once again, KWSH congratulates EN Jani on achieving this well-deserving award.
