Red Sun With Love Charity Drive

There has always been this saying, “too many cooks spoil the broth” where when there are too many people trying to do something; they make a mess out of it. But this was definitely not to be said for our collaborative effort made together with Red Sun, 100.3FM and Made In Candy in the bid to raise funds for our Hospital. 

Red Sun being our main sponsor, engaged radio station 100.3FM to promote the telepoll campaign which kicked off from 27th February 2012 and which will run for three months. Listeners of the radio station were encouraged to make their donations through this telepoll. Besides the ongoing telepoll campaign, an event was held on 10^th March to invite the public to the Hospital to make their donations and at the same time, get a chance to meet with their favourite DJs. In appreciation of their kind generosity, walk-in donors were each incentivized with a goodie bag and a packet of candies that were imprinted with the logos of Red Sun, 100.3FM and Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, all these were generously sponsored by Red Sun and Made In Candy respectively.

This is the first fundrasing event spunned off by the Hospital this year in an effort to continue appealing for donations from the public to help fund our operating and redevelopment costs. Telepoll lines are still running till 26 May 2012 and the public can continue to make their donations by dialling: 1900 112 1250 for S$50 donations and 1900 112 1220 for S$20 donation.
