National Day Observance Ceremony 2015

On 5 August 2015, KWSH’s administration staff and close to 100 residents gathered at the event hall for a National Day observance ceremony. This is a yearly occasion that we all look forward to as it is a meaningful time for us to reflect on and feel proud of the nation’s achievements.

Besides following the tradition of singing the national anthem and reciting the Singapore Pledge, everyone enjoyed the entertaining dance performances put up by our very talented staff. A very Singaporean local dish – Hainanese Chicken Rice, provided by an anonymous sponsor, was also served to the residents.

The National Day celebration left in each of us a deep sense of appreciation and pride that we live in a harmonious and progressive country. At KWSH, we will all continue to embrace the ‘Singapore Spirit’, of having shared values like multiracialism, meritocracy and respect for every talent, and loyalty and commitment to Singapore, as we strive on our journey of serving the sick and needy community.
