Charity Golf 2017
The annual KWSH Charity Golf 2017 teed off at Singapore Island Country Club on 13 October. This year, the event’s guest of honour, Mr Lim Swee Say, Minister for Manpower, and KWSH Patron, Mr Wong Kan Seng, were among the 136 golfers who swung into action. The golfers had come together for a good cause, with a total of $489,000 raised through the event thanks to the support from the golfers, as well as our donors and event sponsors. Besides helping our residents, the funds raised will also go towards our operating expenses, enabling us to continue to serve the needy as KWSH continue on our journey to transform ourselves into an integrated nursing home and community hub.
After the friendly competition on the afternoon green, the golfers were joined by the donors and sponsors at dinner where the golf prizes were presented to the winners before the event came to a close. KWSH would like to thank Minister Lim Swee Say and Mr Wong Kan Seng for gracing the occasion. The Board of Directors and Management would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to all sponsors and donors.
