Charity Golf 2018

On 2 August 2018, KWSH held its annual Charity Golf at the Singapore Island Country Club (SICC). Together with the 113 golfers who were mostly representatives from the various sponsor organisations as well as our donors, guest of honour Associate Professor Yaacob Ibrahim, Member of Parliament for Jalan Besar GRC, teed off at SICC’s New Course for a good cause. Altogether, a total of $505,000 was raised through this friendly golf tournament, with the funds raised contributing to our resources to allow KWSH to continue to serve the needy elderly in the community.
 
The afternoon’s swinging action on the green was followed by dinner at the ballroom where other donors and sponsors joined the golfers for a hearty meal after their exertions during the day. At the dinner, Dr Yaacob gave out the golf prizes to the winners and top golfers, and also presented tokens of appreciation to our event sponsors.
 
KWSH would like to thank Associate Professor Yaacob Ibrahim for gracing the occasion. The Board of Directors and management would also like to express their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all donors and sponsors for their generous contributions that made this year’s Charity Golf possible.
