In collaboration with a leading and renowned figure in Singapore’s music circle, Iskandar Ismail, Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital (KWSH) held a Charity Concert on the evening of 13 December 2012.
On 01 December 2012, our Hospital ground was transformed into a carnival to commemorate its 102 years of providing quality and affordable healthcare to the sick and needy.
To bring the festive mood to the needy elderly residents of Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, we organized a Mid-Autumn Festival celebration event on 16 September 2012.
This year, to mark Nurses’ Day, our Hospital held a celebration which consisted of dance performances from the different ethnic group of our nurses, karaoke competition as well as a sumptuous buffet spread for all of them.
The KWSH Charity Golf 2012 event was organized at the Tanah Merah Country Club on 10th July 2012 to raise funds for the hospital’s redevelopment cost.
In a collaborative effort made together with Red Sun, 100.3FM and Made In Candy in the bid to raise funds for our Hospital, a fundraising event was held on 10 March 2012 at Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital.
Held on 7 November 2011, the concert was the first of many such events for the donation drive to raise funds for the redevelopment.
Mr Patrick Lee announced at the anniversary celebration on 16 October 2011 that the hospital will expand with a new high rise building next to the four existing buildings.
The Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) presented the opening performance of its 5th Caring Concert Series at Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital on 12 October 2011.
On 11 September 2011, representatives from 19 Cantonese clans and associations gathered at the Hospital to jointly celebrate the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival by warm heartedly and joyfully light up the lantern adopted by each respective organization.
This year, the Hospital’s annual charity golf event was held at the Tampines Course of Tanah Merah Country Club on 20 May 2011.
This year, as the Hospital celebrates its 101th Anniversary, it also coincides with the installation of a new 86th Term Board of Directors.
