This year, the Hospital’s annual charity golf event was held at the Tampines Course of Tanah Merah Country Club on 20 May 2011. The Patron of Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital, Mr Wong Kan Seng, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security, was the Guest-of-Honor.    

More than 30 individuals and corporate organizations participated in this fund-raising sports event, to help raise money for the Hospital’s annual operating expenses of $16 million.  Besides donations, some of the Hospital’s steadfast supporters also made generous in-kind donations and sponsored the prizes.
