Clarification:
The Board of Directors being the highest policy making and governing
body of KWSH, is ultimately responsible for the proper running of KWSH
with the help of management. Our directors volunteer their time,
expertise and money to the organisation.
Members of the Board have frequently donated financially to KWSH.
Furthermore, expenses relating to Board and Staff events such as Year
End Dinner & Dance. Nurses¡¯ Day Celebration and refreshments for
Board¡¯s meetings are paid by the directors. Publications in the
newspaper in the form of obituaries and announcements are also paid
from the directors¡¯ private funds. Public donations have never been
used for such purposes.
